Mass Server
Our mass servers assist at the Lord’s table for Sunday and Holy Day liturgies. This is a great way for our youth and families to be involved and to learn more about the liturgy. Volunteers must be responsible, dependable, respectful, and also have received their First Holy Communion.

Lector
Lectors proclaim the scripture readings at Mass. Lectors need to be articulate and comfortable reading in front of the congregation. A Lector workbook is provided on an annual basis to assist with your preparation of the readings.

Eucharistic Minister
A Minister of the Eucharist is a confirmed Catholic at least 16 years old, and assists in the distribution of the Eucharist with reverence. Ministers are asked to help out as needed at Masses.

Usher
Ushers greet people as they arrive, assist with doors and seating as necessary, assist with the collection, counting the Mass attendance, distribute bulletins, and straighten up the pews after mass.

Sacristan
Sacristans assist in the care of items related to liturgical worship. This includes preparation of the hosts and wine for Mass, the placement of the cups and water on the preparation table, purificators and the book holder for the Book of the Gospels on the altar prior to Mass. They are also responsible for washing the vessels after Mass.

Environment
Our florist and trained altar cloth ministers and launderers work closely with the Parish Director to plan the environment for each liturgical season.
Volunteers are needed to set up/ take down seasonal decorations such as the Advent Wreath, Christmas trees, and indoor and outdoor Nativity scenes.
