Save the Date! Our Silent Auction Returns!

It’s been six years since we last hosted our Silent Auction and with the tremendous growth we’ve had in our parish over the past 5 years with new members and visiting guests, we thought it was time to reignite the fun and excitement! We’re looking forward to seeing the variety of creative donations from our parishioners, guests, local businesses, and the extended community…and we’re excited to get in on the bidding ourselves as well!

Not only does a wide variety of items make a Silent Auction more interesting, but it also makes it more successful! We are in need of a variety of donations of all sizes, for all ages, and in all price ranges. Do you knit, crochet, quilt, make cards, do woodworking, make your own jellies, jams or honey? Love to bake? Handmade crafts and bakery items are always a hit!

How about getting your family and friends in on the fun? Get together to decide on a theme…each person contributes an item or two related to your theme…and voila! You have a great themed basket (or two) to donate! Need some theme ideas? Sports, Cooking, Stamping, Reading, Religious, Travel, Tourists Attractions (Local & Out of Area), Backyard Grilling, Gardening, Game Night, Dining Out, Chocolate Lovers, Coffee Lovers, Theatre Lovers, Craft Beers, Baby, Kids, Gardening, Holidays, Electronic Gadgets & Gizmos, Auto, Spa Day, Pets…you get the idea! Be Creative and have some fun! Have a cottage or Time-share you would like to donate for a week or two? We’d LOVE to have it!

Do you own your own business? How about donating some of your products or gift certificates for your services?

THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS YEAR’S AUCTION IS…your donations will help improve accessibility at our church as all funds raised will go towards the installation of a much-needed ADA-compliant automatic door opener for the ramp door to the Narthex, ensuring a welcoming entrance for everyone.
